Team Summit Alpine Program

Intro to Race Saturdays

Ages 6-15

The Team Summit Introduction to Racing program seeks to improve each child’s skiing technique over the course of an entire season while having fun on the slopes.

The athlete’s skills are strengthened through a wide variety of activities including:

Miles of supervised free skiing
Obstacle courses
Moguls
Skiing in powder (hopefully!)
Terrain parks
Short drill courses
Slalom, Giant slalom, and Kombi courses

Groups are divided thoughtfully by age and ability. And with a low athlete to coach ratio, each athlete receives ample attention, instructional time and supervision.

Choose between three locations:

  • Breckenridge
  • Copper Mountain
  • Keystone

What is required before hitting the slopes:

  • USSA Youth Competitor License
  • Medical Form
  • Signed Team Summit Waiver
  • Team Summit Jacket
  • Vail Resorts Epic Locals Pass or Copper Mountain Season Pass, depending on home mountain
  • Must be a proficient skier on the mountain
  • All athletes should be able to ski parallel on all intermediate terrain
  • USSA approved helmet
  • One pair of GS or SL skis preferred with 9-12 meter radius

Program Fees: $945/$250 VSF deposit
Dates:  Saturdays December 1st, 2012—Mid-March 2013
