Celebrate the power of winter sports.

First Alpine & Snowboard Combined World Cup – January 17-20, 2014, the newest event in the Paralympics Games, Snowboard Cross, will be held in conjunction with Alpine Skiing at the center of the winter sports community. Witness the exciting performances of the athletes from around the world right before they fly to the 2014 Sochi Russia Winter Paralympic Games.  About 120 alpine ski racers and 40 snowboarders with physical disabilities will gather in Copper Mountain, Colorado. For some of the athletes, this is the final opportunity to get the ticket to the 2014 Sochi Winter Paralympics Games representing 20 countries.

Athletes arrival day.
10am-2pm Team Summit Colorado Boarder Cross Camp at Vein Glory

This is a great opportunity to train on the world class boardercross venue coached by Team Summit Colorado snowboard coach who knows everything about the course. Both adaptive & able-body riders welcome. Camp fee $30/athlete, lift ticket not included. Sign up at Team Summit Colorado Club House.

9am-3pm Alpine: GS 1 at Rosi’s
10am-2pm Snowboard: Boardercross Official Training at Vein Glory
4pm- Award Ceremony at Copper Mt Conference Center Bighorn room

Jan 18 (Sat)
9am-3pm Alpine: SL 1 at Rosi’s
10am-2pm Snowboard: Boardercross 1 at Vein Glory
4pm- Award Ceremony at Copper Mt Conference Center Bighorn room
5pm-6pm Premier showing of documentary “The Movement”
Narrated by Robert Redford and Warren Miller, “The Movement’s” dynamic cast shares how their disabilities are no longer a limitation, but rather a strong aspect of their character. The profit of the tickets sales will support disabled athletes. $10 for pre purchase, $15 at the door. You can watch a trailer of this documentary film here.

Join us to celebrate the power of winter sports with the world class adaptive athletes for the Award Ceremony and Banquet Dinner. You can purchase a VIP Ticket, which will include a dinner at banquet, one free drink at the cash bar, a ticket to “The Movement” showing on Jan 18, and a gift bag.
