Our Alpine program gives athletes the direction needed for them to reach their full ski racing potential. Team Summit concentrates on building the basics of stance, balance and over-all race strategies and tactics. Athletes participate in a range of local youth ski league competitions for our development athletes to US National Championships for our elite athletes. We strive to put every athlete on top of their personal podiums.
Team Summit is able to offer training and racing on some of the best competition and free-ski terrain in the world. Headquartered in Summit County Colorado, we offer a unique four mountain training program that includes:
Arapahoe Basin
Breckenridge
Keystone
Copper Mountain, which is now home to the new US Alpine Ski Team’s Speed Center
Because of the naturally long ski season of Arapahoe Basin, extended night training under the lights of Keystone, the best snow in the US, a variety of program options including Weekend and Full-Time and a dedicated staff, Team Summit can offer any athlete great training opportunities.
Team Summit is also proud to offer an Academic Athletics Program in partnership with the Summit County School District’s Early Release Program. This program allows the dedicated competitor an opportunity to blend academics and athletics while competing at the highest levels. This program offers comprehensive early season conditioning and training, full-time training and competing during the winter on-snow season and post-season on-snow training and conditioning.
All Team Summit Alpine athletes are encouraged to participate in the Summit Cup Race Series and other Rocky Mountain Division events that fit their age group. This program includes coach support at USSA events and other select races.
All Team Summit participants are required to have a USSA membership, approved helmet and appropriate season passes. Other items required are listed in each program description.
Team Summit Punch Passes are available for other training opportunities throughout the season for all age groups.
