Welcome Jaime Brede

Summit County, Colorado - Team Summit is fortunate to welcome Colorado native, Jaime Brede as the Ski Mountaineering “Skimo” Head Coach. Jaime is a member of the United States Ski Mountaineering Association (USSMA) National Team and competed in the 2019 World Championships in Switzerland.
In 2014, Jaime successfully installed the Summit County branch of The Cycle Effect, a non-profit organization using mountain bikes to educate and empower young women.
Jaime has competed as a professional athlete in Xterra Triathlons and Cross Country Mountain Biking. Her athletic pursuits also include competing in nordic skiing, trail running, and swimming.

By offering dedicated training to aspiring athletes we will open the door to participation in this rapidly growing sport. As a USSMA National Team Member and Athlete Advisory Council Member, I am thrilled that Team Summit has chosen to put their resources towards growing the sport of Skimo, and that they have chosen me to be Head Coach of this program."
