Ski Racing Devo (SRD) and Devo+ had an awesome weekend racing a full field YSL GS series at Loveland Feb 25-26. Our kids have been working hard and gaining experience! 

For Saturday’s boys race, we had a lot of great race runs and some exciting top 5’s

For U10 Boys, Park Jarjapka had an exciting day with a 2nd place finish in race 1 and winning it with a gold for race 2! For a field of 40+ U10 boys, this is a great day for Park who carried a lot of speed through both GS runs. Way to go, Park! 

A great day for our U12 boys with Ian DiCanio and Milo Cybulski taking 2nd and 3rd both races in a fast U12 field. They skied some aggressive lines, carried speed and took 4th and 7th overall for race 1.

The U14 boys did a great job as well, with Keegan Brower putting down the fastest overall run of the day and 1st place both runs, and Ramsey Phelen in third with some great skiing.

On Sunday, it was the girls’ turn to race some GS on Twist! 

U8 girls crushed it! Congrats to Sadie Helmle with a third place finish in race 1 and a first place finish for race 2! She did a great job and supported her teammates as well. Nicole Labelle had a great day with a 5th place finish race 1 and a 2nd place race 2! Kitson Brown came in 4th place for race 2 as well. Congrats girls! 

Congrats to CC Hammitt for two third-place finishes in a big field of 45 U12 girls! Two fast runs!

U14 girls punched into the top 5 with Cora Pope in 4th for race 1 and Kinsey Helmle in 4th for race 2! Congrats to U16 Lucy Sumner for 2 4th place finishes!
