The 3rd Annual Paul Kresge Memorial Bike Ride is a ride circumnavigating Lake Dillon on July 30th, 2023. The event will be a fundraiser in honor of Paul Kresge with the goal of supporting scholarships for Summit County's young skiers, snowboarders, and bikers.
The ride will circle Lake Dillon clockwise and include a box lunch, served at Dillon's Marina Park Pavilion.
We welcome individual riders, walkers, and those who just want to join as we remember and celebrate Paul Kresge and his legacy of supporting youth development in Summit County.

The Paul Kresge Memorial Bike Ride is a ride circumnavigating Lake Dillon (around Lake Dillon). However, if you want to walk instead, that is fine as well. If you have a member of your party who does not want to do the full loop, then that is fine too! We have a route for bikers, walkers, and athletes of various abilities.
Each ticket includes a commemorative shirt and lunch. We will be starting and ending the day at the Marina Park Pavilion.
Proceeds directly benefit the Team Summit Scholarship Fund to support local Summit County athletes and families. ------------------------------------------------------- Can't make it to the ride? The squares and triangles are actually a flag, part of an old maritime tradition. The flag stands for "PK 7977."
As you may have guessed, PK 7977 was Paul Kresge's boat. PK for Paul Kresge and 7977 was his boat's number.
Paul was both an avid skier, biker, and sailor. So it only seems appropriate that the logo comes from sailing for a biking event that benefits youth development through Skiing and Snowboarding. (And Mountain Biking in the Summer.)
Over-The-Hill-Gang Social (OHGS) is excited to continue the Paul Kresge Memorial Fund. As many know, Paul was passionate about skiing, sailing, and biking. You may not have known that he spent much of his time supporting and promoting kids in both skiing and sailing.
OHGS has chosen Team Summit Colorado as the recepient of the funds. Proceeds from the Bike Ride exclusively support Summit County's young athletes through the Team Summit Scholarship Program.
