April Athlete of the Month – Trevor Palmquist

Trevor Palmquist, Alpine U12 + U14   He dominated the recent Rocky / Central U14 Championships in Vail. SHS Ski/Snowboard Rack Project

Thanks to Patricia Oliver, who’s son attends SHS as a Team Summit Academic Athlete, for getting the SHS Ski/Snowboard Rack project underway with the recommendation of Adam Jones, a skilled woodworker. But the project wouldn’t have been complete without the donation of wood that was reclaim from forest service fire mitigation...

Big Mountain Skiing Update 3/17-3/19

Congrats to all of you that competed at Abasin, I saw some really great moments from every competitor.  Even though I was not coaching, I was able to watch everybody's runs. Rolling into this weekend, we have a slight conflict with the Breck National.  This event will drain a fair amount of our coaching resources to support the athletes competing, but we'll still offer some training on Saturday and Sunday for those that want to make the trip to Breck on Saturday and Sunday. Schedule 3/16 – No Training 3/17 – No Training (SMS/SHS no school) 3/18 – Breck...
