Hey crew, Who is ready to ski?!!! It’s finally here, the start of the RQS /Devo season! I hope you all have your backpacks ready, skis tuned, boots fit and enthusiasm to rip. We have been getting some snow and the skiing is getting better quickly.  Be certain to get your Arapahoe Basin pass set ASAP so when you show up on Saturday morning you will be ready to hit the snow sliding. What is Skimo? Skimo is an abbreviation of Ski Mountaineering.  The sport encompasses nearly every style of skiing out there.  Athletes race not only uphill, but also downhill.  Think backcountry ski touring, mixed with a downhill race. Leah Emaus Press Release October 6, 2020 Summit County, Colorado – Team Summit is excited to welcome Leah Emaus as the Ski Cross Head Coach. Leah was a member of the USA Ski Cross Team and competed in NorAm, Europa Cup, Grand Prix, and World Cups. Leah is a two-time US National Champion and found the podium worldwide, including a World Cup win at Tabor Mountain, BC Canada.
