Snowboard Updates – February 18th, 2020

Snowboard Updates – February 18th, 2020 It has been a crazy competition season.  We have more kids traveling to more places for contests, more kids doing well at contests, and unfortunately, more contests getting canceled than ever before.  The effort that our families, athletes, parents, and sometimes grandparents put into making a successful snowboard season is remarkable.  The Team and the coaches can not thank our membership enough for all of the support.  The craziness continues for a few more weeks.  The Big mountain Crew will head to Taos this...

Snowboard Updates – January 31, 2020

Snowboard Updates – January 31, 2020 Hey Team, Contest season is about to get rolling.  There will be some ups and downs over the next 5-6 weeks.  It is difficult on a team like this because when one kid has a good day it is usually at the expense of a teammate or friend.  In the low times it is easy to blame someone else.  It is important to remember that everyone, coaches, officials, judges, and mountain personal, are out there to help the kids be better snowboarders and better people.  When we are going contest to contest week in and week out we tend to get...

Volunteer Opportunities for Freeski Devo

Freeski Volunteer Updates – January 29th, 2020 Hi AGAIN parents! I wanted to send an email out regarding volunteering for the club in order to fulfill VSF hours for the season. Your help volunteering for TSC hosted events is so vital to the success of our organization and we honestly cannot put these events on without your help. Please know that we would much rather have your help at our events instead of receiving the VSF attached to athlete tuition. Not only is volunteering how you receive a refund or credit for your VSF, but it is THE very best way for you to get involved as a parent...

Moguls Updates – Jan. 27, 2020

Moguls Updates – January 27th, 2020 Hey crew! I heard it was a great weekend in Telluride and all of our skiers did awesome! Tons of ribbons and great skiing from all of the athletes that went down. I want to send a special thanks to coach Myles! He did a great job leading our Team Summit crew in T-Ride. We had 4 of our RQS skiers in Vail at the RMD move up event. They all skied great and stood up runs on a very powdery course on Cookshack. Way to show up with your chins held high and show the older athletes what’s coming there a way in the next few years.  *[If you haven't...

Bolle Races

Bolle Race Details Good afternoon all, We had a great morning of training and we think the kids are well prepared for this weekend. A few things: Attached is the program for tomorrow. [See Below or Click Here] The main thing we need from parents is to greet your kids at the finish when they come through. Give them a high five, hug, whatever.  Let them know you're there and proud of them. From a logistical/helping perspective:  At the end of the first run, gather your kid(s) and get them in for some food, water, warmth, etc.  Get their clothes on them which should be brought...
