Rocky Mountain Division U12 Championships
Race announcement with details expected on February 20th, 2018
RMD Athletes, Coaches and Parents,
At Team Summit we are sad for Powderhorn and their weather related challenges this season. They have hosted an excellent U12 Championships the past several seasons. But we are also thankful to Keystone for their willingness to add an event of this caliber during a Spring Break weekend.
There is a lot of planning happening on a very tight timeline to be ready for this event. Through this week Team Summit is holding meetings with Keystone to put together details on venues, prices, housing, banquet, registration, sanction agreements, etc.
It is our hope that we can have complete information in place and posted by early next week.
We understand that everyone is anxious because we are on a tight timeline. Typically a full year goes into organizing a championship event, but we only have a month (really one week) to pull it all together.
There’s a good team already in motion and we will have info in your hands as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience. We hope that in future years the weather will be favorable for returning the event to Powderhorn. They have hosted a super event for several seasons.
Another big thank you to Keystone.

Connecting with communities.
Giving Back to our Summit County Community is very important to Team Summit Colorado. We have opportunities for individuals, families, businesses and corporations to partner with us in elevating youth through winter sports. These events are not only ways you can support YOUR CLUB financially, but also the health and environment of the community we love and play in. As with any event, the more smiling faces the better!
Through our hosted events, we create tight connection with our local communities. We plan local events through out the year and we look forward to seeing you at these events.
For a club of our nature, financial support is just as important as volunteer support. Our goal is to keep tuition as affordable as possible and we can’t do this without donations and sponsorship’s. These financial donations help us to operate, purchase equipment and offer scholarship’s to athletes without adding cost to the programs. WE NEED YOUR HELP AND CANNOT DO IT WITHOUT OUR FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY!
We need volunteers for various events throughout the year!
