These programs provides a variety of benefits to athletes such as exploring new and different trails in Summit County, meeting new friends, staying in shape for skiing and snowboarding, competing in a variety of race series, and progressing on a bike over three months time.

The Gravity Team will ride at the lift assist resorts and on more technical terrain. Riders will focus on downhill and enduro skill development and compete in the Summit Gravity Series.
A full suspension enduro bike is required.
This program will also need a bike haul pass at Copper Mountain and Vail Resorts mountains (more details to come).
Skills
Athletes must be an advanced rider with the ability to ride steep terrain, drops, rock gardens, and other technical trail features with confidence.
Ages
13-18 years old*
The program is built for athletes ages 13-18 years old.
We will consider athletes outside of this age range on a case-by-case basis

Each athlete must have at least a full-face helmet, enduro full-suspension mountain bike, water bottle or hydration pack, snacks, gloves, back protection, knee protection, and an extra tube.
Team Summit is a non-profit which uses fundraising and volunteers to keep program costs down. Fundraising is also essential in providing financial scholarships (not to exceed 50% of the program costs) to athletes in need.

The Cross Country Team will ride single-track trails in Summit County
This is perfect for those who can already confidently ride up and down basic single-track trails.
The program caters to a variety of abilities including intro level, enduro riding, and training throughout the summer. Athletes will learn or improve proper trail etiquette, bike handling tips (body position, braking, line choice, cornering, drops, jumps, ascending/descending, etc.), LNT, and some terminology of bike parts. The mountain bike program is geared towards athletes ages 8 and older who can ride on single-track trails.
Riders will focus on trail riding skill development and compete in the Jr. League Race Series, should they choose to compete.
