Anne Gish is a senior partner at the national law firm of Kutak Rock LLP,
where she is the co-chair of the firm’s Public Finance Practice Group. She
focuses on health care financings, student loan securitization, and other finance-
related transactions for public and private debt issuers, investment banks, and a
variety of investors. Team Summit has been fortunate to have Anne as a valued
member of our revitalized Finance Committee for the last year.

In addition to her great work on Finance, Anne has worked on the annual
report task force and started the City Market/King Soopers card program, which
has been an invaluable source of monthly revenue for the Club since its
inception. She has been actively involved as a parent volunteer in Team
Summit’s big mountain program, helping with hosted events and providing food
and transportation for the athletes. She has worked to foster connections
between the big mountain families and the Club in a variety of ways, including
informally coordinating their volunteer efforts and hosting an early season party
to welcome new families. She has also established a nonprofit cycling team out
of Boulder, doing all of the legal work involved with its incorporation as a 501(c)
(3) organization, and she serves as a current board member.

Anne is excited at the prospect of serving on Team Summit’s board
because she sees the upward trajectory of the Club and knows how important
parental support is to that continued growth. She also recognizes that the big
mountain families are an untapped resource and believes she can help bridge
that gap. She understands how important parent volunteerism is to an
organization like Team Summit, stating, “It’s what we do as parents—we bring
what skills we have.”

On a personal level, Anne graduated from the University of Colorado at
Boulder and the University of Denver College of Law. She and her husband,
Mark Arends, are the parents of 16-year-old Brock and 13-year-old Case, who
are both big mountain athletes. The Arends/Gish Family has been associated
with Team Summit for four years.
