Bill holds a B.S. in Natural Resources Management from North Carolina State University and a M.S. in Recreation and Tourism with an emphasis
on public use from Colorado State University. He served in the Peace Corps in Honduras for two years and created a national park there as part of his duties.
He is currently the District Ranger for the U.S. Forest Service’s Dillon Ranger District*. He and his wife Cheryl are the parents of twelve-year-old Cora, who is in the U14 Age Class Alpine program, and nine-year-old Claire, who is a U10 Age Class Alpine athlete.
