What are you Ski/Snowboard Accomplishments?
I was a competitive snowboarder, filming video parts and participating in events before I started coaching.  I received CU Club Sports female athlete of the year in 2005 and after I graduated college, I moved on to coaching.  Various experiences have been gained working for Copper Ski and Ride School, Woodward Copper, and seven summers at High Cascade Snowboard Camp where I was awarded female coach of the year in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014.  Recently, Team Summit awarded me with Coach of the Year for 2014/2015 and the Golden Brick award for the 2015/2016 season.  I am a US Ski and Snowboard level 300 coach and I have also attained AASI level II.
What is an interesting fact about you that no one else knows?
I have developed a passion for golf over the last couple years and spend most of my off season learning and constantly striving to improve my game.  I love the challenge!
What is your favorite thing about Team Summit?
The kids!  Working with so many awesome kids, watching them grow as athletes and people.  It is so rewarding watching kids develop over the season and from year to year.
What is your favorite quote?
“Success is no accident.  It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”
