New Youth Freeski Rail Program at Frisco Railpark
New Devo Rail Program Launches at Frisco Railpark in January 2027
Team Summit’s new Devo Rail Program launches in January 2027, giving Summit County youth freeskiers a dedicated place to build rail skills, progress with coaching, and find community on snow. Hosted at the Frisco Railpark, the program is designed for locals who want more than the occasional park lap and are ready for consistent practice in a supportive, progression-focused environment.
Since 2024, Frisco Railpark has given local skiers and snowboarders a place to get creative, challenge themselves, and spend time with friends. Now, Team Summit is building on that momentum with a new freeski-specific program created to help young athletes up their rail game and connect with a local crew.
A Place to Progress
Rails invite skiers to approach the mountain differently. They build comfort with balance, body awareness, timing, creativity, and the confidence that comes from practicing a skill over time.
Team Summit’s Devo Rail Program is designed to give young skiers a positive, encouraging environment where they can work on those skills with coaching and teammates around them. It is about showing up, trying something new, learning from each attempt, and enjoying the process of progression.
For parents, that means an intentional setting where athletes can develop their skiing in a program built around support, consistency, and a shared love of the sport.
Built for Local Freeskiers
The Devo Rail Program is for Summit County youth who want to improve their rail game and connect with a local freeski community. Some athletes may already spend every chance they get in the terrain park; others may be ready to take their first steps toward more confident rail skiing.
Wherever they are starting, athletes will have the chance to spend time on snow with peers who want to learn, encourage each other, and celebrate progress together.
Hosted at Frisco Railpark, Team Summit’s Devo Rail Program brings coaching, structure, and community that help turn a favorite local feature into a regular place to grow.

More Than One Skill
Freeskiing is about confidence, resilience, creativity, and learning how to work through a challenge.
A strong youth ski development experience gives athletes space to build those qualities while improving their technical skills. With regular practice and a supportive group, skiers can build the confidence to try new features, learn from setbacks, and keep moving forward.
That kind of growth carries athletes beyond the rail park, helping make more capable, thoughtful, and well-rounded skiers.
Find Your Community
Frisco Railpark has built a strong community of people skiing and riding together. The Devo Rail Program aims to add to this by helping freeskiers find a crew, share goals, and make the most of the winter together.
Whether you’re looking to spend more time on rails, improve confidence in the park, or connect with other Summit County skiers, this new program offers a welcoming next step.
