Moguls RQS/Devo Updates – November 14th, 2020

Hey crew,

Who is ready to ski?!!!

It’s finally here, the start of the RQS /Devo season! I hope you all have your backpacks ready, skis tuned, boots fit and enthusiasm to rip. We have been getting some snow and the skiing is getting better quickly.
Be certain to get your Arapahoe Basin pass set ASAP so when you show up on Saturday morning you will be ready to hit the snow sliding.

This season we will be leaning on parents to help us keep the season successful. There are several key points to help with this. If anyone in your family has not been feeling well, please keep your athlete at home. If any groups your athlete is involved with beyond Team Summit (such as school, other group sports or youth organizations) becomes quarantined, please keep your athlete at home. Since we cannot take groups into the lodges to warm up or eat brown bag lunches, please check in with us periodically through the day to see if your athlete needs a warm up break. Also, plan on grabbing your athlete to have lunch with them…..possibly in your vehicle to stay warm and away from large groups inside. I realize this is a lot to ask, but I believe we have a much better chance of keeping everyone healthy this way and on the snow having a great time.

Here is our schedule for this weekend:

Saturday 11/21 at Arapahoe Basin
8:30–meet on snow in the base area of the BMX chair (we will group up at the highest part of the permanent wooden snow fence to the east of the BMX chair)
