Team Summit Nordic – Senior Nationals, Houghton, Michigan
Team Summit Nordic had four athletes attending the Senior Nationals in Houghton, Michigan, January 2 – 7. Nina Schamberger skied two unique races and qualified for the World Junior Championships in Whistler, Canada. She will be competing and representing team U.S.A. with Team Summit Nordic head Coach Olof Hedberg who was selected to lead the U.S. junior team during the World Junior Championships at the end of the month.
On the men's side, we had some solid performances as well. Sam Haynes, Kai Oppito, and Roan Varble all skied some of their best races against some of the top American skiers.
Freestyle Interval start – 10km, January 2nd, 2023

Men – Kai Oppito 203 overall and 111 U18, Roan Varble 222 overall and 126 U18
