PART-TIME AGE CLASS

The Part-Time Age Class program offers U10-U14 skiers flexible training (3 days/week average) integrated with full-time academy athletes. Includes up to 60 training/competition days, after Thanksgiving weekend through mid-April. Requirements: 
  • Age Categories: U10: 9 years or younger, U12: 10-11 years old, U14: 12-13 years old; based on the athlete’s age as of December 31, 2026.
  • Skills: PSIA Level 9: Parallel skiing on all terrain; high independence to ride chairlifts and navigate the training venue solo. Previous racing experience in Ski Racing Devo, Ski Racing Comp, or a similar program is recommended.
  • Program Dates: Tuesday through Friday 1:00-4:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday 8:00-3:00; December 1, 2026 – April 11, 2027 Friday Night Lights at Keystone 4:00-7:00 PM Jan 8, 2027 – March 26, 2027 
  • Locations: Free-ski and gate training at Summit County’s 4 ski areas.
  • Competitions: Athletes compete in the Age Class series (USSS/RMD sanctioned), racing Slalom, Giant Slalom, Kombi, and Super G. All U10 and U12 athletes are eligible for Divisional championships, while U14s are eligible for some Sync Series and qualify for the Rocky/Central U14 Championships through designated races. All racers may participate in end-of-season events such as the GS Spectacular and Loveland Derby.

    • U10 $4,595.00
    • U12 $4,995.00
    • U14 $5,595.00
    • + $400 Volunteer Service Fee.
  • Season Passes: Athletes must have passes for Arapahoe Basin, a Copper Mountain or Ikon Pass and an Epic Local Pass for training.  Registered athletes will receive discount vouchers for Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain, and the Epic Local Pass. Ikon Pass offers season long pricing at their lowest pre-season price. Vouchers are distributed to registered athletes close to the start of the season. For racers traveling to competitions throughout RMD, an Ikon Pass may be a more economical option than a Copper Mountain season pass.
