Holiday Update & Winter Schedule Notice

Dear Team Summit Alpine Ability and Age Class parents, athletes, and coaches, Happy Holidays! We hope you are enjoying the season with family and friends.

Winter Conditions & Schedule Updates

Colorado is experiencing unusually warm temperatures and limited snowfall. Conditions like this have not been seen since the 1976–77 season. These conditions have impacted training schedules and will continue to affect upcoming races. Please monitor communications closely for schedule changes. We will share updates as soon as adjustments are confirmed.

Support From Our Mountain Partners

We are extremely grateful for the continued support from Copper Mountain, and as race season begins, our partners at Breckenridge and Keystone. With limited terrain available statewide, the dedication of training access for Team Summit athletes has been exceptional. Please take a moment to thank our resort partners whenever possible. Our program depends on these relationships. Following mountain rules, respecting public access, and acting as positive ambassadors are critical to our continued success.

Spring & Summer Training Planning

We are actively planning spring and summer training so families can prepare for camps, travel, and other commitments. Fact sheets for away camps at Mt. Hood and Stelvio are attached. Below are the planned summer training dates.

Planned Training Camps & Dates

  • Age Class A-Basin May Camp: April 30–May 3, May 7–10, May 14–17
  • Ability Copper May Camp: May 7–10, May 14–17, May 22–25
  • Age Class & Ability June Camp: May 28–31, June 4–13
  • Ability U16 Stelvio Camp (Italy): July 14–25
  • Age Class Mt. Hood Camp: July 30–August 7
  • Ability FIS Stelvio Camp (Italy): July 28–August 12
  • Age Class & Ability Copper Glacier SL Camp: August 18–24
Additional details for A-Basin and Copper camps will be shared once received from resort partners. Registration information for Mt. Hood and Stelvio will be announced when available.
