AGE CLASS – ADD ON

Athletes may supplement their primary training program with the Part-Time Add-On Program. Athletes ski with their age group (Jan-April) for up to 20 days. Athletes integrate with full-time academy athletes and coaches. Perfect for adding to part-time programs, middle/high school racing, or home programs. Requirements:
  • Age Categories: U10: 8-9 years old, U12: 10-11 years old, U14: 12-13 years old, U16: 14-15 years old, U18: 16-17 years old, U21: 18-20 years old, Senior 21+ based on the athlete’s age as of December 31, 2026.
  • Skills: Athletes should have prior ski racing experience and a US Ski and Snowboard Competition license. For questions about skill levels, contact the Alpine Program Director.
  • Program Calendar: Jan 1, 2027 to April 11, 2027
  • Training Locations: From January 1 to April 15, training is primarily at Copper Mountain Resort, with short blocks scheduled at Keystone and Breckenridge.
  • Competitions: Athletes may attend competitions with Team Summit when qualified. These US Ski and Snowboard/Rocky Mountain Division (USSS/RMD) sanctioned events are held at various resorts. Competitors must have a valid USSS Alpine Competitor License. Age-class and Ability athletes travel independently and cover their own expenses. Team travel may be available for out-of-division Ability (Ski-Up U14/U16/FIS) athletes, with coaches’ travel expenses shared among all attendees.
