Team Summit Athletes Ashley Adkins and Finn Brown Named to 2026–27 USA Skimo National Team

Ashley Adkins and
Finn Brown have been named to the
2026–27 USA Skimo National Team, as announced by the United States Ski Mountaineering Association (USA Skimo) on May 8, 2026.
Adkins and Brown earned spots on the Junior National Team following an outstanding season of national and international competition. Their selections add to the growing legacy of Team Summit athletes representing the United States in ski mountaineering competition at the highest levels.
Ashley Adkins and Finn Brown Earn USA Skimo National Team Selection
The 2026–27 USA Skimo National Team features 29 athletes from across the country and builds on the momentum of a successful 2025–26 season that included strong performances at both the Olympic level and the Youth World Championships.
For Adkins and Brown, selection to the USA Skimo National Team is the result of years of dedication, training, and competition. Both athletes have consistently demonstrated the commitment and work ethic required to compete among the nation’s top junior ski mountaineering athletes.
Their selections also continue a strong tradition of Team Summit athletes earning opportunities to compete on national and international stages. Alumni, including Grace Staberg, Arthur Whitehead, and John Rauen have previously represented the United States through the national team pathway.
