Woodward Barn Info

We will run Saturday Barn sessions in Woodward for all 201,301, academy and Jr. Academy groups.  These sessions are focused on Rollerboard training on the pump track, Small foam pit and mega ramps.  We will run these sessions on Saturdays from 12-2pm Oct 15th-Nov 12th.  Meet at the pump track and look for coaches Rich and Josh.  You will need to purchase a barn pass.  Ask the desk for the team summit rate which should be $150-$160.

Calendars

We are moving away from our Website Calendars.  I am working on getting the schedules up in a new app called playmetrics (some of you probably know this system better than me).  I hope to have this down and out to everyone asap.  Here are some important dates.

Intro and 101- start first weekend in Dec.

201,301 start on Saturday and Sundays Nov. 19th,  Begin Fridays on Dec. 16th.

Ski and Snowboard Swap

This event will now overlap with family orientation Nov 12, 13.  This event has traditionally not been a great event for snowboarders to purchase board, boots, or bindings.  It has been good to purchase pants, gloves, helmets, goggles, and many many pairs of sox.

To volunteer for this event see the details on the volunteer page. https://teamsummit.org/members/volunteer

Family Orientation

Save the Date,  Nov. 12th.  Learn about the pipeling and all the programs and hopefully get your questions answered in real time.  We will be doing this a little different than in years past.  Comp programs (201,301,academy) Will be in the a.m.  Intro and 101 in the p.m.

USASA Competitions

Many of our 201, 301, 101, and academy snowboarders participate in USASA competitions.  A lot of those contests are available to register at Rockymountainseries.com  It is safe to register for any copper events.  Events outside of Copper we may not be sending a coach.

Big mountain does not participate in USASA.

Coach Contacts

Many of the Coaches are not on Staff full time at this point so it is still best to communicate with me.
