Team Summit Alpine Age Class Update - October 28, 2021

Dear Team Summit Alpine Age Class Athletes, Parents, and Coaches:

The first few days of on-snow training in Copper have been fantastic! A big shout out and thank you to Copper Mt. and the Competition Department for providing such a great opportunity and their support of Team Summit! 

Calendars for training and racing in TeamSnap are being updated as information becomes available. The “Age Class U14, 12, 10” calendar is updated in TeamSnap with training dates and times through December 15 with training dates and times. Details will be added as we get closer to the training dates. Please open the TeamSnap calendar entry to access details.

The season-long race calendar has also been updated with the location of all race events following the assignment of clubs to sites by RMD.

Yesterday, all Alpine Age Class members received a message from Team Summit’s Membership Services Manager Lili Strachan with information for purchasing A-Basin season passes.

After restrictions have been eased, we are pleased to be able to return to A-Basin for training beginning Mid-November, Free-skiing opportunities all season, and post-season Spring Training! The planned training days for the period of November 15 – December 15 are included below.

At the $100 discounted pass cost, the A-Basin season pass affords a great value and benefit to our Age Class athletes opening up the great terrain and long season of one of Summit County's favorite resorts.

Those with Ikon passes may wish to use their allowed A-Basin days before purchasing a pass, however, the discounted pass vouchers expire on December 15. Ikon Passes receive up to 7 days of access at A-Basin and the Ikon Base Pass provides up to 5 days of access. See the calendar below to help with evaluating the benefit.
