Athlete of the Month – Ella Kirschner
Ella Kirschner is December's Athlete of the Month. She is a Mogul skier in our Academy program and goes to Summit Middle School. She arrives at training early every day with a huge smile as well as friendly and welcoming interactions with all of her teammates. She works hard at making the improvements her coaches are looking for all while enjoying the environment she is in. With the unique challenges of this season, Ella came up with the idea of making the ribbons and medals that are lacking this season after all of the competitions. Ella has taken on the task of constructing...

November's Athlete of the Month is Ben Lyman. Ben is a Snowboarder in our Academy Program. He goes to Snowy Peaks. Athlete of the Month – River Mentch
Podium Sports Athlete of the Month:
River Mentch
River has been the embodiment of our big mountain team throughout his time with us – fun, charismatic, helpful, and always willing to push himself. This was River's final year with Team Summit as he will be graduating from Summit High School and moving onto Montana State next year. After battling with a handful of injuries this season, he continued to always come back with a smile on his face ready for more. It's going to be tough to lose River's positive attitude and charisma, but I know he'll continue...
Athlete of the Month – Dylan Smith
Athlete of the Month – Dylan Smith
Dylan is a positive, responsible and caring young man who happens to also be an outstanding ski racer. He had an early-season injury that kept him out for over a month. In just his second race weekend of his season, after returning from an injury and five-week layoff, Dylan qualified for the RMD Team to the Rocky / Central Regional U16 Championships.
More important than this outstanding athletic achievement, Dylan embodies the club's core values daily. His attendance at training is the highest among the team...
Athlete of the Month: January
Athlete of the Month for January: Jadyn
Jadyn has always been a key personality in the Team Summit Snowboard Program. We have seen Jadyn go from a tiny little 8 year old encouraging her friends to a hard charging and aggressive 13 year old on the Boarderx course. This year Jadyn is starting to shine as she moves from being a little kid into a leader in the Boarderx Program. We see her help the younger athletes and we see her execute all the drills and courses with maximum effort every day. 2 Weeks ago one of the kids lost his board down a closed run at Keystone. ...
December's Athlete of the Month – Owen McKibbin
Owen exemplifies what it means to be a team player. He is caring and works hard to support his teammates.
It is not uncommon for Owen to take time to help his teammates in competition or practice. Notably, Owen recently took time from his own training to help some upcoming freeskiers prepare for a USASA contest. He is always engaging and willing to share his unique set of skills with his teammates. The Park and Pipe program would be at a loss without Owen’s patience, dedication, and positive attitude.
I value Owen's heart and commitment to skiing. Thanks for...

Alina has always been one of the hardest workers in the gym and it showed this summer. Alina continues to take responsibility for her own training and raises the bar for others around her. As a top performer in the classroom, Alina serves as a role model for academic athletes. She is quick to come up with a plan and get to work on her agenda. We look forward to seeing Alina perform in the future as she shoots for the Rev Tour this season. Thanks Alina!
