Team Summit Events are for everyone in the community, regardless if they are a Team Summit Colorado member, local or athlete! We encourage EVERYONE to attend our events with friends and family to support our mission of helping athletes realize their personal podiums.
MANY types of events! We bring our club members and community members together incorporating our local/sponsoring businesses through movie nights, coach and family orientations, sanctioned races, a black-tie gala fundraiser, free community races, free community speaker series, tuning clinics, a ski and snowboard swap, golf tournaments, a pancake breakfast, end of season parties and alumni events!
All year long! We have events all year round, but our busiest time is during the Winter season. Please see Event Calendar to view our schedule.
Whole Athlete - It is important for athletes to build strong relationships, make lasting memories of great experiences, and celebrate their accomplishments! They have easy access to world-class resorts, sports, and terrain located in our own backyard to create positive interactions that last a lifetime and fuel their passion to continue achieving their goals.
Whole Team - While we may be skiers or snowboarders, at the end of the day we are a team and family of our own. Our events bring us together for the passion of becoming our best version of ourselves to support our communities, our teammates, coaches and each other.
Whole Community - While there are many businesses and members that support Team Summit Colorado
financially, it is essential for us to give back to the community that gives us so much. Our athletes help
during early season boot packing, clean up a race venue during the summer and create a float for the local 4th
of July parade amongst many more events throughout the year.
Planning, preparing and executing our many events takes a village. We are always in need of volunteers to make our events even better, and if you can lend your time, talent or treasure, please go to our Volunteer Page or Support Page.
The 40th Annual Team Summit Ski Ball is going virtual on December 5th, 2020.
Featuring a complimentary live auction, silent auction, and programming ticket. Make the evening a night to remember with our dinner options and more! The Ski Ball is Team Summit's largest fundraiser for our scholarship fund benefiting at-need families.
Your complimentary ticket includes access to both the Silent and Live auctions! Elevate your experience by hosting your own private dinner party with your choice of meals from Copper Mountain Banquets.
This virtual gathering is a momentous event for Team Summit’s need-based scholarship program. We believe every athlete should have an opportunity to chase their dreams no matter what their financial situation may be. Thanks to the support of our community leaders, last year’s gala raised over $100,000 for our athletes.
The event is open to everyone!
Support Team Summit Colorado on Colorado Gives Day
Team Summit Colorado invites Coloradans to support youth development in Summit County by donating on Colorado Gives Day, December 8, 2020.
Community First Foundation and FirstBank present Colorado Gives Day, an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy through online giving. The event is powered by ColoradoGives.org, a year-round, online giving platform. Donors can easily search for our profile on the site and make safe and secure donations.
“Colorado Gives Day is one of our most important fundaisers of the year. Donations help us do more to support the community and ensure our athletes are able to achieve their personal podiums regardless of finances,” says CB Bechtel, Executive Director.
$1 Million Incentive Fund
Community First Foundation and FirstBank each contributed $500,000 to create a $1 Million Incentive Fund, one of the largest gives-day incentive funds in the country. Every nonprofit receiving a donation on Colorado Gives Day receives a portion of the fund, which increases the value of every dollar donated.
Community First Foundation, a leading foundation dedicated to fueling the power of community to drive positive change, and FirstBank, Colorado’s largest locally owned bank, have partnered to present Colorado Gives Day for the past eight years. By making fundraising simple for nonprofits and giving easy for donors, it is one the most successful events of its kind in the nation. Last year, $39.6 million was raised for Colorado nonprofits in just 24 hours.
