MOUNTAIN BIKE

The Team Summit MTB program aims to provide safe, fun, and enjoyable experiences to help develop our athletes into lifelong cyclists.

Program Approach

We offer day trips, camps, skills clinics, downhill park days, and summer programming to provide a variety of benefits to athletes such as exploring new and different trails in Summit County, meeting new friends, staying in shape for skiing and snowboarding, competing in a variety of race series, and progressing on a bike throughout a 3 season period.

MTB Programming

team summit mountain bikers train indoors

The goal of the spring indoor cycling and strength program is to maximize athletic performance and reduce injuries encountered during participation in all sports. This is accomplished through improvements in mobility, flexibility, postural enhancements, absolute strength, and power production. We will have indoor cycling training sessions and Zwift set up for athletes to ride with and against one another! Each indoor cycling training session will be a coached ride for all athletes. Bodyweight exercises will be prescribed outside of cycling training sessions.
