About Paul Kresge

The Paul Kresge Memorial Ride honors a beloved community member whose passion for youth development, mentorship, and the outdoors continues to inspire Team Summit today.

Paul believed deeply in creating opportunities for young people through sport, and that spirit lives on through this event.

Every mile ridden and every dollar raised helps ensure more youth in our community have access to safe, supportive, and confidence-building experiences on bikes, skis, and snowboards.

Event Schedule – Sunday, June 7th

• 9:30 AM – Rider check-in
• 10:00 AM – All rides depart
• 11:30 AM – Potluck lunch
• 11:45 AM – Welcome + sponsor remarks
• 12:30 PM – Community social hour (bike games, youth activities, cookie granola + merch sales)
• 1:30 PM – Event concludes

Ride Options

All mountain bike rides are led by Team Summit coaches and junior coaches. Participants select their group during registration.

• 🌿 Family-Friendly MTB Ride: Fun, welcoming, all-family ride format (45–60 minutes)
• 🟢 Green (Beginner): Beginner-friendly terrain (60–75 minutes)
• 🔵 Blue (Intermediate): Moderate climbing + flow trails (75–90 minutes)
• ⚫ Black (Advanced): Faster-paced, technical terrain (ages 12+, 75–90 minutes)
• 🚴 Road Ride – Lake Dillon / Rec Path: Self-supported community ride — find a group or choose your own pace and distance

Registration Options

• Team Summit MTB Athletes (2026) – Free: Ride + lunch included
• Youth Community Rider (Ages 6–18) – $25: Ride + lunch included. $25 credited toward 2026 MTB program registration if they join a Summer or Fall program.
• Team Summit Adult Member (2026) – $50: Ride + lunch + commemorative cycling socks
• Community Rider – $100: Ride + lunch + commemorative cycling socks
• Supporter Ticket – $50: Join for lunch and support youth programming (no ride required)
• Sponsorship Opportunities Available: Support the Paul Kresge Memorial Fund at a higher level through sponsorship packages. See sponsorship levels on the registration page.

Support the Paul Kresge Memorial Fund

All proceeds from this event directly support the Paul Kresge Memorial Fund (PKMF).

This fund helps provide access for economically challenged Summit County youth to participate in Team Summit’s year-round ski, snowboard, and mountain bike programs.

Your participation helps remove barriers and create opportunities for more kids to get outside, build skills, and be part of a supportive community.
