The Pay It Forward Award Winner for Athlete Service

Huck Swanson Receives the Pay It Forward Award

Team Summit is proud to recognize Huck Swanson as the recipient of this year’s Athlete Volunteer of the Year Award: the Pay It Forward Award for Athlete Community Service. This award is presented each season to the Team Summit athlete who records the most volunteer hours, honoring athletes who give back to the community that helps shape and support them. Huck, a member of the Big Mountain program, recorded the most volunteer hours this season. He volunteered at the Annual Ski and Snowboard Swap and Ski Ball while also consistently serving as a Big Mountain judge at Summit Foundation Cups and the Devo Competition Series. A natural leader, Huck is a true pleasure to work with, a teammate others love to be around, and someone younger athletes look up to.

Celebrating the Runners-Up

Beckham Richmond and Tanner Wilson, both from the Park and Pipe program, also recorded standout community service hours this season. They round out a strong group of athletes who understand that being part of Team Summit means giving back as much as you receive. Congratulations to Huck, Beckham, and Tanner for representing what the Pay It Forward Award is all about: athletes who make our community better. Interested in volunteering?
