Last week, Vail Mountain Resort hosted the SYNC Series u16 Rocky/Central Junior Championship qualifying races. The four-day race series brought in over 120 athletes, varied weather and lots of great ski racing, including the first races held on the new T-bar expansion hill. Women and Men both competed in two Slalom and two Giant Slalom races over the course of week. Team Summit Colorado athletes had a great series: Stella Buchheister came home a 4th in SL and two 4th place GS results, Niko Leunig had his first u16 victory with a 1st place in the GS race and Jevin Palmquist...

The FIS Mogul Team shreds Sweden
The FIS Mogul Team made a trip to Idre Fjall, Sweden this November to train and compete. This kicked off Team Summit’s competition season before the season begins here in the U.S. Athletes included Evelyn Harris, Jackson True, Justin Jachimowicz, Sophie Jachimowicz, Reese Lemnah, and 2 athletes from different Colorado clubs, Tenley Leonard of Winter Park and George McQuinn of Purgatory. Coaches Zak Watkins and Scott Rawles were in attendance.
