Frisco’s Fabulous Fourth of July Celebration
Nestled in the heart of the mountains and along the shores of Lake Dillon, Frisco’s Fabulous Fourth of July combines mountain-town charm with a full day of family-friendly events, live music, and community traditions.
During a break in the festivities, visitors can explore the Frisco Bay Marina at the end of Main Street, offering pontoon boat rentals, paddle sports, and lakeside dining at the Island Grill.
The celebration transforms Frisco’s historic Main Street into the center of the mountain experience. Traffic gives way to pedestrians, businesses spill onto the sidewalks, and the downtown district becomes a gathering place for residents and visitors throughout the day.

Start Your Day Off Right
One of the best ways to experience Frisco’s Fourth of July is to enjoy the town before the parade begins.
Families can participate in the annual Kids’ Fishing Derby, while visitors and locals alike can gather at the Team Summit Pancake Breakfast. Held from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the breakfast has become a longstanding holiday tradition and serves as a fundraiser supporting youth endurance sports programs throughout Summit County.
The breakfast is also a convenient stop for athletes competing in the Firecracker 50 mountain bike race later that morning.
Experience the Mountains
Visitors can spend the day exploring downtown on foot. Restaurants and shops spill onto the streets while community organizations host activities across town.
At 1:00 PM, thousands gather along Main Street for the annual parade, where local organizations showcase their unique take on mountain living.
The festivities continue into the evening with free live music on Main Street. Frisco Funk Collective opens the concert lineup at 4:00 PM, followed by nationally acclaimed ensemble, The Motet.
The experience is a true mountain celebration that feels distinctly local while offering the energy and atmosphere of a much larger event.
