About team summit

Mission
We are a youth development organization empowering our athletes to realize and celebrate their personal podiums.
Support
Your support for our events and operations is vital to keeping program costs down for Team Summit Colorado. Our TSC-hosted events not only supply a key source of income but also foster youth development by allowing our athletes to achieve their personal podiums in a familiar and welcoming environment. Volunteering is crucial to strengthening the bond between families and the mountain community, extending connections beyond the winter season. Running this team truly takes a village, and we need your help to make it happen.

History

Team Summit was formed in the early 1970s as the Summit Skiing and Educational Foundation with the purpose of sponsoring young alpine skiers who wanted to participate in an intensive training program. In the late 1980s, Team Summit developed one of the first Snowboard Programs in the country and continues to have the largest Snowboard Program in the United States today.

Team Summit was also one of the first teams to offer Big Mountain Skiing/Snowboarding Programs in the country in 2008. The four Summit County ski areas: Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and Keystone were our founding mountain partners and continue to be strong partners today.
