Happy October! That means many of us will be on snow within the month. Enjoy the Fall weather snow is on the way!
Dryland Training proceeds with abandon, TS Academy athletes are getting stronger by the day, our full-time skiers are moving into a gymnastics and trampoline focus this month with a continued mixed with weight training and cardio in preparation for the season ahead.
Competition Schedules are just being finalized, take a look at those to form a season competition plan, Coaches will help formalize those plans during goal setting sessions the first few weeks on snow. Please do not book lodging before schedules are confirmed and coaches have signed off.
Did you know - Freeski Devo (formerly Intro to Freeski) is now being offered in all 4 of our partner resort base areas. Its a great place for new athletes to get involved in Team Summit Freeski programs. We still offer a referral bonus if a new family puts you down as a reference when they register. More Friends equals more Fun!
SNÖBAHN provides a unique indoor training opportunity for snowsports athletes. Three endless slopes and freestyle training area allow athletes to improve their technical skills and refine their tricks. Because it is an indoor facility training can happen during the day, after school, at night and regardless of the weather.
Official Team Summit training will be available on Tuesday nights in three blocks this season.
Block 1 -Pre-season prep will be October 22, 29 and November 5, 12
Block 2 -December Training will be December 3, 10 and 17
Block 3 -Mid-Season Training will be Jan. 14, 21, 28 and Feb. 4
These sessions will run from 6 pm - 8 pm and they will be staffed with both SNÖBAHN and Team Summit coaches. Four-week sessions will be $200 and three-week sessions $150. Registration is now active on the Team Summit website, http://teamsummit.org. Just click on the CampMinder Login button, then select Camper Application to sign up.
