Wow. Our world has really turned upside down. In support of the effort to curb the COVID-19 virus and the mandates of our State, County, and Town Governments, A Racer’s Edge is transitioning to Phone-in/email ONLY sales model.

Our passionate staff is still available to help you with your skiing needs. Since 1972, we have been here for all your recreational, big mountain, and alpine racing ski needs. We eat, sleep, dream, and breathe skiing and have supported skiing in our community for nearly 50 years. A Racer’s Edge has been a major sponsor of Team Summit for years as well as a contributor to many of the community’s non-profits.

We refuse to look at the current pandemic as the beginning of the end for A Racer’s Edge and our community’s way of life. Yes, the COVID-19 virus has us all scratching our heads, wondering what’s next and how do we proceed. I believe that we can all get through this by working together, being caring and helpful, everyone doing their part, remembering why we live here, and keeping in mind all the good times…it will all be back!

That said, an undefined closure is a threat to ANY small business. Many small businesses have only small cash reserves to tide them over for a few weeks at most. I am worried that this pandemic will potentially cause the end of many small businesses. Accordingly, it is our hope that we can rely on our years of community support and our passionate expert service and ask that you support A Racer’s Edge in any way you can. The time is most definitely NOW. This goes beyond A Racer’s Edge! PLEASE continue to support your favorite small shops in our community so they will be around to enjoy well after we beat the virus issue.

We will all ski again…maybe not this season but we will ski again. We will all need a new pair of skis, a new pair of boots, a pair of custom insoles, or a ski tune. As a skier, you are all a part of the A Racer’s Edge Skiing Family.
