Freeski Competitions are governed by various organizing bodies. Each discipline requires a license entry fee, waivers in order to compete.

Moguls events are governed by US Ski and Snowboard is the oldest governing body and that is the membership needed for any path to the Olympics in skiing. https://usskiandsnowboard.org/ regional event info is found on www.rockymountainfreestyle.com

Big Mountain is regulated by the International Freeski and Snowboard Association – IFSA https://www.freeskiers.org

Park Pipe and Ski Cross are managed by USASA   http://www.rockymountainseries.com

FUNDRAISING AND VOLUNTEERING

Team Summit is a non-profit who uses fundraising and volunteers to keep program costs down.  The fundraising is also essential in providing financial scholarships (not to exceed 50% of the program costs) to athletes in need.

Volunteers are essential to our programs.  Without our volunteers, we could not execute many of our fundraising and program events.  There is also no better way to become part of the Team Summit community!  Aside from the program cost, there is a Volunteer Service Fee (VSF) deposit.

This deposit is $250 for intro programs and $300 for all other programs.  We ask that each ITS family volunteer for a total of 25 hours per family (not per athlete in the program) in a year (our year starts July 1st and ends the following year on June 30th).  You can volunteer for any event available on the VSF calendar.

See the calendar

We are adding events daily so check back often.  If you successfully complete your 25 hours, you can get a credit for the next season or receive your deposit back if you are leaving to program.
