Stella Buchheister

The winner of the Bob Craig Award for Excellence in Alpine Skiing is Stella Buchheister. Stella had outstanding racing performances with 5 top 10's in the five of the U14 championship events.  

The U14 Championships attract more than 40 athletes each from both the Rocky Mountain Division and Central Division of the USSA, come together as the best 12 and 13-year-olds between the coasts.  It is the most competitive regional championship in the country.
It is important to include Stella was awarded the Sportsmanship Award at the U14 Championships in Steamboat Springs.    

Her outstanding performances result from the focus, commitment, work ethic, positivity, and thirst for improvement Stella Buchheister brings to everything she does.

Bob Craig Award For Excellence in Alpine Skiing

This award is for one Alpine athlete whose work ethic and dedication, not necessarily results, are consistent with excellence, competitive spirit, and drive. Bob Craig is the founder of the Keystone Science School and has dedicated his professional career to youth development.
Bob was a patron of the Summit Race Team and friend of Mark Jones, who also spent his career in support of Alpine Ski Racing and youth development.
