The Peter Witter Award

For Outstanding Sportsmanship

Dylan Smith

The Peter Witter Award for outstanding Sportsmanship is awarded to Dylan Smith. Always positive, putting in his best effort, and at the same time supportive of his teammates and gracious both in success and disappointment, Dylan exhibits the qualities of outstanding sportsmanship at all times.

Having missed a significant part of the season due to an injury in November, Dylan returned to competition just before the Championships. While not yet skiing to peak performance levels he never sought to make excuses but continued to focus on his own best effort and support his teammates in their accomplishments.

Determined as a competitor, Dylan Smith helps lift those around him by both his actions and his words.

Congratulations Dylan!
